# Christoph Winter

> Assistant Professor of Law and AI at the University of Cambridge and director of the Institute for Law & AI (LawAI) and the Cambridge Programme on AI Science & Policy (CASP). Research at the intersection of law, AI governance, and experimental jurisprudence.

Christoph Winter serves as an independent scientific expert advising on the EU Code of Practice for general-purpose AI. His research focuses on the law and policy of frontier AI, spanning AI governance, law-following AI, judicial decision-making, and the legal protection of future generations.
